Winstar Casino Poker Room Review
I went for a second time for the Saturday $175 deep stack tournament. The room is smoke free and the game play was just what you want in a good stake, half hour blind level game. The majority of the players were older me with a splash of other different players. The game itself was such that I was shorstacked once the antes kicked in but still managed to play from 11 am to almost 6 pm. It's a hike to get there from Houston but it well worth it for a road trip or a spontaneous go round. The weekday games were good as well. Saturday's game boasted 157 players and a $6K first prize. I played a couple Thursday $65 buyin games with 89 players in the afternoon and 49 players in the evening session. It's a good room that accommodates where possible.

Virtual roulette, poker and blackjack are well covered at WinStar Casino, with special variants like Blackjack Super 7s and Roulette Double Bonus Spin among the picks from the 40+ virtual casino games. We also like that WinStar Casino has a dedicated video poker section, something which is often overlooked by new online casinos. Poker at WinStar World Casino WinStar World Casino & Resort Poker Room. The Winstar Casinos (Palace, Mariachi and Center Ring) casinos share the same 46-table, non-smoking poker room (located in the New York Gaming Plaza). The poker room is huge at 20,220 square feet with 20 plasma TV's, 40 open tables, and a high limit area with 6 poker tables.
Gameplay: some aggression, but a steady game just the same. Not a donk fest at all. Most players are locals and are familiar with each other and the dealers.
Atmosphere: good with non smoking and tvs surrounding the room. Not loud except for directors calling for players.

Same poor management, very poorly run room! Regulars just hop around from game to game, without ever getting on the change list, can't blame em, if you bother 1 of the 4-6-8 board people, supposed to be floors but you'll rarely see them on the floor, they are very rude! The regs rat hole chips constantly. The dealers are good, but there's only so much they should have to do. Your supposed to get comps for playing but again you have to 'bother' 1 of the many board runners and they clearly don't like that!
